The Shenmo Abacus Hong Kong centre brings this globally trusted programme to local families. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) at Star House, our centre is led by Ms Mak (麥老師), a Shenmo-certified senior instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience. Classes are deliberately small — just 5-7 students — so every child receives the attention they need to thrive.
Shenmo's proprietary 6-stage curriculum takes children from their first encounter with the abacus through to advanced mental arithmetic. Students learn to visualise the abacus in their minds, enabling them to calculate multi-digit numbers at remarkable speeds. Beyond arithmetic, Shenmo abacus training develops concentration, memory, right-brain activation, logical thinking, and self-confidence — skills that benefit every area of a child's education.
