Shenmo Education (神墨教育) operates Hong Kong's leading abacus and mental math training centre, dedicated to children's cognitive development through the ancient art of abacus calculation. Our training centre in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) at Star House provides a comfortable, well-equipped learning environment. Classes are kept small — just 5-7 students per class — to ensure every child receives the individual attention they deserve. Our lead instructor, Ms Mak (麥老師), is a Shenmo-certified senior instructor with over 15 years of experience in abacus mental math education.
The Shenmo training methodology is built on a proven 6-stage curriculum that takes students from basic abacus operation through to advanced mental arithmetic. Students learn to visualise the abacus in their minds, enabling them to perform complex calculations at remarkable speeds — typically 3-5 times faster than their peers. Our students regularly compete and place in abacus mental math competitions.
