Our Hong Kong abacus class is held in Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) at Star House, easily accessible by MTR from anywhere in Hong Kong. Classes are led by Ms Mak (麥老師), a Shenmo-certified senior instructor with over 15 years of teaching experience. We keep class sizes small (5-7 students) to ensure every child gets individual attention.
Through our proven 6-stage curriculum, students progress from physical abacus manipulation to advanced mental arithmetic — calculating multi-digit numbers entirely in their heads. What ages can join the abacus class in Hong Kong?
Our abacus class welcomes children aged 4-12. Beginners start at age 4-6, intermediate levels for 6-9, and advanced for 9-12. Each child is assessed and placed in the appropriate level.
How much does the abacus class cost?
Monthly tuition is HK$900 for 4 classes (each 1.5 hours). Materials cost HK$300 per stage. There are 6 stages total, each lasting approximately 20-25 classes. First trial class is free.
Where is the abacus class held?
Classes are held at Star House, Room 533, 3 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui. It's a 3-minute walk from TST MTR Station Exit L6.
